How to link your Everbridge mobile app if you are a Polk State College Employee

The Everbridge mobile app is an additional (optional) alert path available to Polk State College staff and students. Everyone will receive texts, phones calls, and emails when alerts are issued by the college whether or not you choose to install the app. If you choose to install and link the mobile app, you will also receive push notifications when alerts are issued.

Students can login to the mobile app with their Polk State email and password. 

Employees CANNOT log into the app with their account information, but must use the link in the registration email. 

Steps to link the Everbridge mobile app to the Polk State College alert system:

1. Download the app. This can be done by searching the app store on your mobile device or by clicking the link in the registration email on your mobile device.

2. DO NOT try to log into the app. If you enter your log in information, you will get an error.

3. Return to the registration email on your mobile device and click the link. If you clicked it to download the app, you will have to come back and click it again after installing the app.

4. You may be asked to open the Everbridge mobile app and/or accept permissions.

5. Your Device will be automatically linked to the Polk State College alert system.

Do not enter your log in information directly in the Everbridge mobile app. It will not allow you to log in directly. You must click the link in the registration email after the app is installed. 

If you have not received, or cannot find your registration email, please email Everbridge@Polk.edu to request it be resent.
